Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Finance professional with a strong background in Accounts Payable for an immediate start within a State Government Department.
This is a full-time, temporary assignment for four months (until the end of November), with the potential for extension. Classified at the AO3 level, the role offers a casual hourly rate of $51.12 plus superannuation. Based in Robina with hybrid options available following initial training, this position will see you engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders, collaborating effectively across the department to support core financial operations. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, early applications are strongly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume end-to-end invoice payment processing, ensuring accurate transactional entry, validation, and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Utilise SAP and various state government finance databases to track payments, retrieve information, and generate transactional reports.
- Engage confidently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to provide clear information and resolve payment queries.
- Maintain critical finance administration systems, data records, and administrative workflows.
- Continued adherence to legislation, frameworks and agreed service levels
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or high-volume transactional finance, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and navigating complex data management systems is highly regarded.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of accurately processing large volumes of invoicing documentation.
- Highly effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
