Randstad provides a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Converge International. The EAP offers short-term coaching and counselling to help you with a range of personal and work-related issues, such as:

Work and personal stress.
Personal and workplace relationships.
Emotional difficulties, grief and loss.
Sleep and fatigue.
Addictions, including gambling, drug and alcohol.

In Australia, your employer is obligated to pay superannuation (often called 'super') on your behalf. This is a payment made into a super fund to provide you with money for your retirement. The current superannuation rate is 12% of your ordinary earnings.

Randstad will make monthly contributions to the superannuation fund you select on your behalf. To ensure we can do this correctly, you will need to provide us with your superannuation details before you commence working with us.

Log in to your My Randstad portal.
On the left side, click on 'Super Choice' and then click the blue button that says 'Select Super Fund'.
Click the blue 'Continue' button if you agree to the terms.
You can then choose one of the suggested super funds or click 'Choose Another Super Fund' if you wish to use your own nominated Super fund
If you choose your own Super fund, you will need to type in your fund details and click 'Continue'. If you are unsure of your current super fund details, you can find them at https://my.gov.au/.
To confirm your choice, type your full name on the Superannuation Standard Choice Form.

If you need time off, please tell your supervisor and your development coach as soon as you can. When you fill in your timesheet, enter the hours you would normally work and write a short note in the comments. The note should say which day you took off and what type of leave it was, for example sick leave or annual leave.

As a maximum-term contractor, you get 4 weeks of annual leave each year and 10 days of sick leave each year. This leave builds up slowly as you work.

This means that your leave entitlements build up week by week, allowing you to take paid annual leave once you have accrued the hours.
