Due to some changes in the team, the council is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join until the end of the financial year. This Principal Statutory Planner role will suit someone who is immediately available and has experiecne managing a senior caseload. In this role, you will get exposure to a wide variety of applications including residential and commercial. We are seeking someone that is an effective communicator that presents well and has strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Additionally, as the successful candidate, you posses treats including:
- Bachelor degree in Urban Planning or equivalent
- Experience as a Senior Statutory Planner in a Government organisation
- Ability to deliver positive statutory planning outcomes
- Strong time management skills while working with great attention to detail
- Ability to engage with the local community and other stakeholders
- Experience providing guidance and mentorship to junior Statutory Planners
This role offers a great working-from-home culture with the flexibility of working once or twice per week in the office.
