Past this initial contracted period, there will be an opportunity to extend in order to close these gaps identified in your audits and reporting accross the department.
Key accountabilities:
The purpose of this role will be to lead a comprehensive WHS assurance review of the client's contract administration system for infrastructure projects and to implement and embed updated contract administration processes. Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships and partnerships across a range of stakeholder groups to support business objectives.
- Lead a comprehensive WHS assurance review of the client's contract administration system for infrastrcuture projects.
- Provide expert professional advice and services across the full range of operational health and safety functions for MSQ.
- Coach and mentor MSQ staff in WHS assurance program tools and verification activities for infrastructure projects.
- Assist to implement and embed updated contract administration processes.
Experience:
- Academic qualifications in workplace health and safety, or other appropriate qualification will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation and policies within construction environments.
- Proven experience within a role pertaining to WHS, applying expert knowledge of safety management systems (including the review, analysis and/or development of safety management systems).
- Experience in auditing and report writing is essential for success in this role.
- The successful candidate must complete a Criminal History Check.
