About the role:
Your duties will include:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Updating and maintaining of employee records
- New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
- Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Award interpretation
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports
- Handle inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to payroll
- Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams as needed
- Provide support during payroll audits
About you:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Comfortable with some manual processing
- High level of attention to detail
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
