​The role:​ Their focus is to provide nurturing child care with a holistic approach to teaching that engages children’s curiosity and helps them gain confidence.​

Plan and implement play based programs for the 4-5 year old children which will get them ready for school.

• ​Ability to adhere to the company's child safe policy and code of conduct
• Bring the Kindergarten values of connection, communication and consideration to life ​ and reflect this in everyday practice.
• ​Communicate positively with the children and families, being a role model for all ​ educators and a trusted advisor for families
• ​ Mentor and guide educators; lead with best practices.
• ​Planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments, using a ​variety of materials and equipment to facilitate children’s development
• ​Providing a variety of experiences and activities to develop motor skills, cooperative ​social ​skills, confidence and understanding
• ​Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes and informal discussions held individually and within groups of children
• ​Observing children to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional ​disturbance and other disabilities

Essential criteria

• A Bachelor of Education ( Early Childhood) and Care OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• A current VIT card
• 2 references that can attest to you working with children
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
