The Centre
This gorgeous, 70 place service in Seven Hills is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join their welcoming and established team today! The service follows a Reggio Emilia approach whereby children are provided the opportunity to explore and guide their individual learning experiences.
... The centre has modern, purpose-built indoor and outdoor spaces and is well-resourced to ensure educators are able to provide high quality learning experiences. The centre is also located nearby to the local shops and is easily accessible via public transport being just a 5 minute walk from Seven Hills train station.
The Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
- Motivating and leading a team of educators to achieve high-quality care for all children within the service
- Completing curriculum planning sheets and reflections to ensure the curriculum decision-making process is fully and appropriately implemented.
- Establishing, nurturing and fostering strong and inclusive relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes
- Building a supportive relationship with families to allow for honest and open communication of expectations and needs
- Assisting in ensuring high quality practices and procedures are being met according to the NQS
- Ensuring the inclusion and support of all children’s learning abilities

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education qualification OR ACECQA-approved equivalent
- NESA Accreditation
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- A current Working with Children’s Check
