Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare documentation associated with the acquisition of property interests in Queensland.
- Demonstrate administrative proficiency in property acquisition processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Council's interests during negotiations.
- Liaise with legal counsel and other relevant parties to ensure documentation accuracy and legality.
- Provide support in researching property documentation and information for Council reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the Council's property portfolio.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in property acquisition documentation preparation.
- Broad understanding of legislative frameworks for property acquisitions in Queensland.
- Property law student or studying in a related field (e.g., valuation, property economics).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in research and analytical abilities.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Information:
- Flexible work arrangements including work-from-home opportunities.
- Option for part-time or reduced hours for the right candidate.
