Established in 2015 in London, the club has grown internationally with locations in Singapore and Switzerland, and is set to expand to Melbourne by 2025. This global club provides a unique space for members to immerse themselves in their shared enthusiasm for fine wines and viniculture. It boasts one of the most extensive wine selections globally, featuring over 6,000 wines from 42 countries.
About the Role
As an Event Executive, you play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience of our members. You will be instrumental in organizing and executing member acquisition events, such as chardonnay dinners and wine tastings, especially pivotal as their new Melbourne club is in development. This role requires a dedicated individual who is eager to contribute to the success of the Melbourne club.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the operational aspects of events, including the preparation of name cards, seating plans, and other administrative duties.
- Facilitate events at external venues and restaurants while the permanent club location is under construction.
- Oversee all event operations, including planning, execution, logistics, stakeholder liaison, and staff coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing satisfaction levels among hirers, patrons, and suppliers.
- Assist with the management of venue-related administration, including budgets, staff training, and post-event analytics.
- Occasionally handle tasks outside of regular working hours as required by event schedules.

- Around 4+ years event operations experience.
- You are proactive and hands-on, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Your attention to detail is exceptional, ensuring no aspect of an event is overlooked.
- You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are comfortable with occasional irregular hours to meet the needs of the club and its events.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enable you to interact effectively with members, staff, and external partners.
- A passion for wine and experience in event operations would be highly advantageous.
