Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially savvy Contract Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for excellence. Working autonomously, you will collaborate closely with Directors and designated Project Managers, overseeing the financial aspects of sub-contract packages for mixed commercial projects exceeding $30 million AUD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage head contracts and subcontractor agreements.
- Prepare comprehensive scope of works and subcontractor packages.
- Facilitate progress claims, external variations, and contract finalisation.
- Administer RFIs (Requests for Information), EOTs (Extensions of Time), and coordinate with the design team.
- Ensure cost management, budget control, and end-of-month cost reporting.
- Proficiency in construction software such as Jobpac and Payapps is advantageous.
To be Successful:
- Minimum 4 years of postgraduate experience with a reputable Australian builder on projects exceeding $5 million.
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Career-driven, self-motivated, and decisive with excellent decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working from Head Office with site visits up to twice per week.
