Role Overview:
As a Business Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business unit and the delivery of essential services to the Aboriginal communities.. Your administrative expertise will contribute to the efficient functioning of the team as they strive to address the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st of July 2024
Pay Rate: $45/hour + super
Location: Dubbo
Hours of work: 8hours/day, 40hours/week

Key Responsibilities:
... - Provide comprehensive administrative support to the business unit, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
- Process and manage business information in adherence to established standards and guidelines, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Utilize relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentations to support business unit managers and directors.
- Implement and maintain effective administrative systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage filing systems to ensure the security and accuracy of information, facilitating efficient retrieval when needed.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Offer support and assistance to fellow members of the administration team, promoting a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
- Deliver exemplary customer service and manage reception responsibilities, serving as the primary interface for the business unit.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Commitment to upholding principles of diversity, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
