... Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program schedules, incorporating input from various stakeholders, project managers, and team leads.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope, objectives, and dependencies to create realistic and achievable schedules
- Utilise industry-standard scheduling tools and software to build and update project and program timelines.
- Monitor and allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal project performance.
- Work closely with project managers and branch managers to identify resource constraints and recommend solutions.
- Conduct resource planning and analysis to optimise team efficiency.
- Identify and analyse critical paths within project schedules, highlighting potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Regularly review and update schedules to reflect changes in project scope, timelines, and resource availability.
- Facilitate regular communication among project teams to ensure awareness of schedule updates, changes, and potential impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various project schedules and ensure alignment with overall organisational goals.
- Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and risks, and propose solutions to mitigate these issues.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to assess the impact of changes on project timelines and overall delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 year's experience creating schedules, managing resource constraints in a large enterprise (preferably ICT).
- Strong understanding of resource scheduling, and project management with the ability to create pragmatic schedules highlight issues for resolution such as resource constraints and dependencies on different skill sets.
- Understanding of portfolio and project management tools such as MS project, Clarizen and Jira.
