The Role

As a Sales Representative, your primary purpose is to manage a defined pharmacy territory (Perth North, West, and CBD - approximately 220 pharmacies) through structured call cycles and strategic promotional activity. The Role

Under general guidance of the Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the day-to-day operational activities within the Manufacturing and Fabrication Workspaces, with a primary focus on Engineering Fabrication and Welding equipment. • Develop, implement, maintain, and review safe work processes and risk assessments in designated areas, ensuring operating procedures and working environments comply with OH&S and legislative requirements.
• Ensure laboratories and workspaces are maintained in a safe, clean, working, and operational state at all times.
• Assist with planning for the acquisition, installation, and commissioning of complex equipment.

What You Will Bring

• Experience and knowledge in the routine operation, maintenance, and training of various forms of Welding and Fabrication equipment, including general engineering and manufacturing practices.
• Proven knowledge and experience in Welding and Metal Fabrication within Engineering workspace settings.
• Proven workshop operations and maintenance experience, preferably in a teaching or research environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of current OH&S legislation with knowledge of other field or industry regulations or standards.
• Proven initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be highly organised and work autonomously and in a team.

About your new role – Maintenance Fitter:

You will be working within the Brisbane City Council. Asphalt & Aggregates branch. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of plant and equipment associated with the production of asphalt products. Your expertise will ensure that customer needs are met, plant utilisation is optimised, and quality and cost-effective work is provided.

• Maintaining and repairing our equipment and machinery, both within the workshop and production areas.
• You will undertake preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, overseeing stock, and ultimately adhering to our maintenance plans.
• Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of materials.

What you will need to exceed:

• Australian or Australian Recognised Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical/Fitter & Turner) - required
• C class driver’s licence

• Available to work the occasional weekend and night to complete shutdown maintenance

The Opportunity
