A unique opportunity has arisen for a State Manager to lead our Victorian team within our Melbourne CBD office. This position presents outstanding earning potential and the chance to work with some of the biggest clients in the market. Randstad is a proven name within the sector and is currently servicing all of the big four banks as well as significant PSA's across the Superannuation and Insurance markets.

About your role

As State Manager you will be responsible for the management of a team of five experienced and successful consultants who recruit across Risk & Compliance, Wealth Management, Lending, Insurance and superannuation. Your role will be to lead, develop and mentor the team while developing and managing a desk that recruits technical and senior positions within the banking and financial services market.

Responsibilities include

  • Developing your team by providing training, support and coaching
  • Providing leadership in business development and client acquisition
  • Identify prospects for your team and implement plans to penetrate and/or grow in both new and existing business.
  • Maintain a high level of service to our clients, candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that you set and manage achievable KPIs for your team to drive key business outcomes
  • Sales leadership

We are looking for two things. Firstly, an industry expert within the Banking and Financial Services market who has a track record recruiting senior or technical roles.

Secondly, we need you to have solid people management experience and be able to demonstrate a track record in developing teams and individuals.
