About your role

Randstad is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Bid Writer to join our Bids & Tenders team in Sydney.

In this role you will contribute to the growth of the company through the preparation, approval and submission of competitive tenders, quotations and unsolicited proposals based on client tender requirements ensuring compliance is met.

This role requires reviewing and editing previously written content where necessary, working with other bid team members to produce written bid responses and presentation collateral in line with deadlines.

The role won't only involve writing content for use in the bid, but also presentations and all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach.

Responsibilities include

  • Responsible for the end to end tender management process nationally
  • Write, update and maintain the tender library ad tender templates
  • The development of presentations in liaison with the Sales team
  • Responding to requests from the Sales team for research and information
  • Developing strong relationships with a number of departments across the organisation including the sales teams, legal team, key content providers and the Bids team
  • Tracking pipeline and performance of proposals

What you will need to succeed

  • Ideally 2+ years of working experience as Bid Coordinator / Writer / Manager
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Proven experience using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of project management practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets
  • Strong organisational skills
