    Our Albury based recycling client is currently seeking a Yard Operator to join their team growing. This role offers 5 days/38 hours per week on a consistent day shift - with merit based opportunities for permanent employment.



    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Yard Operator, this role will see you:

    • Safely operate equipment, including forklift and/or excavator;
    • Ensure customers receive a high level of service;
    • Grading and sorting materials;
    • Loading & unloading trucks, skip bins and trailers; and
    • Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    To succeed as a Yard Operator you will need:

    • A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
    • A Forklift (LF) licence;
    • Skid Steer and/or Excavator licence is an advantage (or a willingness to attain);
    • Knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing - advantageous but not essential;
    • Ability to work independently; and
    • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail.
