KEY INFORMATION

JOB TITLE: Welding Inspector

LOCATION: Dampier, WA

START DATE: 27/06/2018

END DATE: 03/08/2018

PAY RATE: $60 per hour D/S, $69 per hour N/S

WORKING HOURS: 12 hour days/nights

THE CLIENT

Our client is one of the world’s largest defence and security companies. Their Western Australia operations are based in Kwinana, WA.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Unloading and receipt of spool kits
  • Design and fabrication of fabrication stands
  • Post metrology fabrication of 16” 625 CRA clad tie in spools
  • Post metrology fabrication of 10” 625 CRA clad tie in spools
  • Post metrology fabrication of 8” DSS horizontal jumper spools

PROJECT SCHEDULE

The spool fabrication scope of work is scheduled to be executed over a period of 34 days from the commencement date. You will be required to work for a period of 14 days up to a maximum of 28 days without a rostered day off. The length of time you are required to be on site without returning to Perth will be dependent on progress.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Welding inspection experience in the heavy industrial and/or oil & gas industry
  • CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 qualification (essential)
  • NACE 2 qualification (desirable)
  • Construction industry white/blue card (essential)
  • MSIC (desirable)
