About the Role:
We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator to join our Epping team. The Weighbridge Operator is primarily responsible for controlling and coordinating waste movement on and off site and ensuring all data is captured accurately utilising our computerised weighbridge system.
This is a full-time, ongoing position, with an immediate start available. The roster is Tuesday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday, 6am - 2pm. Candidates may be asked to work additional hours to meet the operational requirements of the business, as needed.
Key responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
...- Weighbridge operation including data entry into the controlled waste management system
- Generating and/or collating management reports using weighbridge software
- Managing customer and supplier files in the weighbridge software
- Receiving and inspecting raw material deliveries
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Handling of COD sales including Eft/Banking summaries
- Relief in operational duties when required
- General administrative duties
You will need:
- Victorian drivers license and reliable transportation
- Right to Work in Australia
- Experience working in a similar role and/or industry would be advantageous
- Team player who can work well with others
- Police check and pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening (to be completed during the recruitment process)
