Waterworld is seeking to engage Swimming Instructors for the 2018/2019 Spring/Summer season. Waterworld’s Learn To Swim program is offered 7 days a week over the course of the season and is an integral part of the Centre’s programs. As part of their growing Learn To Swim program, you will have a desire to encourage children of all ages to learn the vital life skill of swimming. You will be energetic and enjoy working with children.

Throughout the October to March period, program hours include 3:30pm-6pm weekdays, 8am–12pm Saturdays & 9am–12pm Sundays. Instructors would be expected to be able to commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week.

To be successful for the position you will require;

· Previous experience as a Swimming Instructor in a formalised program.
· Experience in teaching infants, pre-schoolers and students
· Experience in high level customer service
· Ability to engage with parents and other members of the public
· Excellent communication skills
· Highly focused with the ability to stay on task
· Highly energetic and motivated
· Able to commit to a specific time for the school term.

Successful applicants will need to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and fitness assessment prior to hire.
