About the Role:

We are seeking a mechanically minded individual to take charge of the warehouse operations in Rydalmere. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient management of components and materials without direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations: Manage the collection of pumps from clients for service or repair. A company vehicle will be provided for pickups and deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Order parts, tools, and other materials as needed. Receive, pack, and wrap orders, complete consignment numbers, and organize transport carriers.
• Forklift Operation: Operates a counterbalance forklift to manage warehouse inventory and logistics.
• Stock Maintenance: Maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
• Support Technicians: Ensure that onsite technicians have the necessary parts available for repair and maintenance.
• Hands-On Repairs: Utilize your mechanical skills to repair pumps and prepare them for despatch..

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and experience in handling and repairing pumps is essential.
• Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift (certification preferred but not essential).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and coordinate logistics.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required; we value practical skills and a hands-on approach.
• Must adhere to a strict drug and alcohol policy, including random testing.
