Randstad is currently working with a top-tier defence contractor on a critical enterprise network modernisation program. This company will lead the planning and designing of the communications, surveillance systems, and network services to support the critical air traffic control functions. As a Verification & Validation and Test Engineer, you will support the testing and verification of systems and manage the integration and test environments.
This is a contract opportunity based in Melbourne. Flexible work arrangements and an office/home office split are also available.
About the Role
- Lead a team of like minded individuals to consult across Systems, Projects, and Network Engineering.
- Lead the verification and validation activities for the program.
- Prepare Test Plans and Procedures.
- Design and implement Automated Tests Frameworks.
- Conduct and manage system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and manage configuration.
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Computer science, Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering.
- Extensive Verification & Validation experience with mission-critical systems.
- Proficient in hardware and/or software installation and configuration.
- Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital).
- Experience with working on all phases of System Development Life Cycle.
