This role would be ideal for a recent graduate with a Science or Engineering degree looking for their first role in the commercial world. Own transport is essential and the ability to commit to a minimum of 38 hours per week for the next 3 months.

Located in the Hills District, this well known medical device company is seeking a Technical Officer to conduct Verification and Validation testing on their products.

The role is ideally suited to a graduate with a Science or Engineering degree looking for their first role.

The requirements of the role are:

  • Perform test protocols
  • Perform routine verification and validation testing
  • Prepare prototypes for testing
  • Document results
  • Investigate anomalies and failures
  • Work closely with Engineers to assist in the development and construction of test equipment
  • Perform small equipment assemblies and upgrades as required
  • Provide support in procurement of new equipment
  • Laboratories
  • Assist in maintaining the amenity of the laboratories
  • Ensure equipment is purchased, maintained, calibrated, tracked and that the equipment databases are kept up to date in accordance with Quality System requirements.
