Randstad is seeking an experienced UX Researcher/QA Specialist to be responsible for designing, conducting, analysing and reporting on user-centred design research and usability testing.

Key accountabilities:

  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
  • Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
  • Investigate readers/staff complaints and non-conformance issues.
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Monitor risk management activities.
  • Review and incorporate as appropriate, existing research and documentation.
  • Coordinate, conduct and analyse research.
  • Identify user needs and goals, task and workflow modelling as well as usability testing, and more formal, in-depth testing.
  • Conduct usability research both online and onsite.
  • Engage with project teams to determine needs and the best way to test for those needs, create test plan, run the testing, analyse results, compile reports and present findings and recommendations.
  • Work with project team members to test business requirements using heuristic/qualitative methods.
  • Communicate research results to project team and State Library stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years industry experience.
  • Excellent QA skills and experience in understanding system testing digital space.
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience.
  • Experience with implementation of digital programs.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases.
  • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA.
  • Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis.
