job description

Randstad Technologies is partnering with a Technologies firm to identify a UWP developer.

Our client is developing enterprise and platform products using both established and new
technologies. Initially there are two products; A cloud security platform and a targeted enterprise
product built on top of the platform.

About the role
As a core member of the apps team, you will help deliver a modern Windows application to
support their platform (.Net, C#). This is a challenging and highly technical role where you will be
responsible for assisting us to architect the perfect solution on top of our security platform.
• Work with other software leads on developing automated processes for managing
production environments
• Work with platform architects on software and system optimisations, helping to identify
and remove potential performance bottlenecks
• Focus on innovating new and better ways to create solutions that add value and amaze
the end user, with a penchant for simple elegant design in every aspect from data
structures to code to UI and systems architecture
• Document the work you do, especially APIs that you create

You can
• A minimum 3+ years' experience having worked as an Analyst Programmer / Application
• Solid commercial C# .NET UWP experience working both writing and maintaining
corporate level business software. Clearly this requires an excellent understanding of the
Microsoft toolchain (Visual Studio etc)
• Experience across the whole SDLC is also important
• The ability to independently undertake a wide range of tasks supporting and enhancing
existing applications, integrating systems, and developing new applications
• Familiarity with modern REST API technologies
• Fantastic XAML skills to help produce lean user interface assets.
• Our platform and product are high security solutions, using cryptographic techniques to
ensure customer data is protected both in flight and at rest. While the team includes
security experts, you must have a good working understanding of and experience with
using cryptographic technologies and can describe the use of public/private key pairs.
