Randstad are currently pipelining for claims managers for temporary contracts an industry leading insurance company. They are Queensland’s number one provider and are looking to engage with eager, resilient and highly adaptable experienced claims managers for upcoming opportunities!

This is an excellent opportunity to take your experience in dealing with customers and insurance and propel to the next level, and build a career with the organisation at the forefront of the industry.

You will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of customer’s claims within industry alignment through developing strong and effective relationships, enhance communication with customers and determine level of claims that balance customer needs.

Southside location with parking on site

Working From home may also be an option depending on guidelines and restrictions at the time of recruitment
Some technology hardware may be provided by client but a reliable internet connection at home is crucial

Highly desirable candidates will;

  • Be very resilient and able to take direction
  • Intermediate computer literacy and high attention to detail
  • Be open and eager to learn new process and new systems
  • Strong communication skills and proven experience in negotiation and managing difficult calls
  • Be adaptable and agile in their learning style as well as efficient and motivated to deliver results
  • Have previous exposure to insurance and claims (Motor and Property would be advantageous)
  • And or experience in high volume and fast paced call centre
  • If you have previous experience in recruitment/job placement, allied health, insurance or personal injury claims we would also love to hear from you in regards to these roles!

Key accountabilities:

  • Manage end to end claims for determination and payment of claims within the set KPIs
  • Understanding of Motor and Property insurance
  • Provide customers with optimal customer service including quality and timely decisions
  • Work together with case management to assist employers with strategies to minimise claims duration
  • Develop specific knowledge around individual claims
  • Manage policies and procedures and meet legislative and business requirements

You must be a great communicator that thrives on achieving outcomes, pride yourself on your ability to adopt a partnered approach and be able to truly understand the needs of your customers. There will be responsibility over driving efficiency of claims through negotiation.
