If you are looking for casual work close to home, talk to us today about your requirements for fitting OSHC work into your schedule. Various roles are suitable for those still studying and looking for real work experience as well as roles for experienced educators who love the excitement of a well structured after school or holiday program. Alternatively, you may not be studying, but hoping to use your experience in child related roles in a fun after school environment.

Randstad Education is busy working with schools across the Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter areas, filling Outside of School Hours roles. Our roles involve carrying out the activities of the day, supervising play, and providing a safe and secure environment at all times.

Our current casual roles are asking for motivated people who are confident in:

  • Supervising kids in outdoor and indoor activities
  • Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational
  • Setting up outside of school clubs and activities
  • Offering a safe and secure environment
  • Liaising with carers and families

The ideal candidates will love the flexibility casual work brings, and want to put their training or experience working with children to use with school-aged children.

About you:

  • You will be available a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Have easy access to transport
  • Have a valid Paid Working with Children Card
  • A motivation to work with children to implement quality, engaging and activity based programs

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ideally some experience in a childcare environment or you may be studying toward a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, however this is not essential
  • Clear communication skills
  • Australian work rights

Experience working with School Aged Children;
