The purpose of the Trust Accountant role is to ensure accurate & timely accounting, reconciliation & initiation of transactions.
The key responsibilities of the Trust Accountant include:
- Reconcile the daily loan to bank transactions for various Warehouse & Securitisation Trust accounts.
- Ensure that all variances are tasked and followed up.
- Reconciliation of various bank accounts
- Preparation of daily cash payments.
- Perform month end works as assigned.
- Process ad hoc borrower loan payments including redraws, refunds, additional advances.
- Working closely with all stakeholders and support ad hoc queries.
The ideal Trust Accountant will have:
- 3 years experience in accounting, finance or relevant field
- CA or CPA Qualification (or part qualified)
- Experience in Financial Services Industry is preferred
- ERP system knowledge
- Exposure to Alteryx is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
