We are seeking a Traffic Planner / Designer who is passionate about planning, engineering, design and innovation. Your roles will vary through the business assisting in a wide range of projects for both the public and private sector across WA.

Your role will require you to undertake inspections of road assets within the WA Road Network to evaluate condition, identify repairs, suggest appropriate treatments, and document findings. This role would suit someone who has a high regard for safety and quality.

The successful Traffic Planner / Designer will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in Traffic Planning, Traffic Designing, Traffic Engineering or Town Planning and road maintenance.
  • Tertiary Qualification in related field, such as engineering or planning.
  • An understanding of the development and planning process in WA. 
  • A strong technical background in either transport or town planning, preferably with experience in integrated land use and transport planning assessments.
  • AWTM qualifications with minimum 2 years experience
  • Full (no restrictions) and permanent working rights in Australia.
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal; and
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Profficient experience with AutoCAD
