About The Role:
Randstad is seeking a Trades Assistant/Vehicle Fitter to join a supportive and friendly fleet management team. In this role, you'll be fitting out a wide range of fleet inclusive of tritons, vans, and police cars. The position offers a steady Monday to Friday schedule from 6am to 2:20pm, providing you with excellent work-life balance with a chance to still head up/down the coast for a long weekend away!
Your duties:
- Installation of vehicle components (tow bars, bull bars, sirens, control units, wiring, canopies, etc.)
- Electrical system installation and repair
- Vehicle modifications
- Quality control
- Documentation and reporting
About You:
- Be able to use basic hand and power tools
- Physical fitness and ability to lift objects
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass a police check
- Police check
