Are you looking for a Career development Opportunity! Randstad have an excellent opportunity for people who are interested in being part of a long term Industrial Marine business working alonside Painter & Blasters, Welders, Fabricators and various trades on the maintence of the Navy vessels.

Located in Darwin NT, this role will be working Monday to Friday with overtime as required, and possible weekend work. These positions will provide successful candidates an introduction to the marine industray, with ongoing site training to further develop your skills and provide career opportunities.

Your role will require various tasks from cleaning and preparing vessels for maintenance, assisting tradesman and basically being adaptable for any tasks which require your support.

What you will need to apply for this role:

  • Available for immediate start
  • A can-do attitude, with a high-level awareness for safety
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a willingness to learn, grow and develop as this will be an opportunity for on the job training and upskilling
  • Experience within a Trades Assistant supporting various tradesman would be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in marine or fabrication industry would be highly desirable however not essential
  • Work will primarily be performed in confined space areas, applicants must be comfortable working within this environment
  • Hold a nationally accredited OHS card (White/Blue card)
  • Hold a current and valid driver's licence
  • White card
  • Confined Space - desirable
  • To work on this project, you must be 18 years or older and an Australian citizen
  • You will be required to complete and pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
