job description

This role is working on an extremely strong bid team which is based in Sydney CBD for a major $1.5 billion scheme of works on Sydney Metro. The programme is to provide all of the air quality monitoring, track (per way), power and tunnel ventilation systems across Sydney Metro from Chatswood to Bankstown.

The contract is expected to initially be for four to five months but this could easily extend and could also result in a long term contract/permanent opportunity if this specific team were to win the project. The HV Testing and Commissioning Manager role is a high level position overseeing the all of the testing and commissioning for the traction substations across this large section of the Metro.

The equivalent permanent salary for this role would be in the region of $300k per annum but the contract rate could be higher.

Suitable candidates would be expected to have:

  1. Rail experience
  2. Experience in delivering testing and commissioning for HV substations at multiple sites.
  3. Experience in 33kv and 15kv substations.
  4. Ideally have experience working for a contracting organisation.

An immediate start is available for the right person. For further information please don't hesitate to contact Andy Lowe at andy.lowe@randstad.com.au
