Randstad Digital is currently seeking a fantastic Test Lead to join a large organisation based in the inner-west of Brisbane. This is a contract until the 30th of June, 2025 with the strong chance of extensions past that point. The role is to develop and implement the Test Management Plan to enable the successful implementation of software. The position requires strong test management skills, working with technical and business testers, developers and vendors through Design, Build, Test and Go Live phases.
Responsibilities:
- Review and creation of test cases, in collaboration with the wider stakeholder groups, to ensure appropriate coverage and traceability
- Manage Test phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing and Penetration Testing.
- Test activities incorporate all works required to validate the solution as fit-for-purpose and support any decision for production releases.
- Working with the Technical teams to identify, classify and then retest defects based on the testing activities above.
- Finalising the transition and failback plan against the test outcomes to ensure it remains viable, especially with reference to any defects or learnings that were discovered during testing.
- Validating the Information Security stance against the test outcomes to ensure it remains acceptable, especially with reference to any defects or learnings that were discovered during testing.
- Contributing to the Implementation Recommendation report to support the decision to Implement the product and supporting components, including the criteria to be used to make the Go-Live decision, informed by the Test Summary Report.
- Setup testing artifacts and frameworks to ensure effective coverage and reporting across the program
Necessary Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing frameworks, testing management tools and test reporting. High-level interpersonal skills, including effective liaison and communication skills.
- Extensive Test Lead experience on IT projects that involves data migration and integrations across large SaaS implementations, including delivery from both third-party implementation partners and internal resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Experience with contemporary testing tools and test automation
