About the Role

The Test Engineer will support a work of programs and projects that assess the crashworthiness of vehicles and roadside infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support crashworthiness tests and assessments in accordance with documented specifications and procedures to ensure the accuracy and validity of the test results.
  • Prepare test documentation and test reports to ensure clear communication of the tests and their results.
  • Contribute to the development of test methods and equipment in accordance with Crashlab’s formal Quality Assurance and continuous improvement program.
  • Support the design, development and manufacture of test fixtures for routine testing and special project

Requirements

  • A four-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work to written instructions and technical procedures with minimal direct supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level technical problem solving skills.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) software
