... They have a 6 - 12 month Fixed term contract opportunity for a Technical Writer to join their growing team in Adelaide, SA.
Your new role:
As a Technical Writer you will:
- Coordinate and organise technical information to produce high quality technical documentation.
- Compile, review, correct and update detailed technical documentation to meet project deliverables using MS Word, Adobe Framemaker and CAD software.
- Produce documentation that is accurate in description, clear in explanation and concise in content according to timeframes
- Provide advice and assistance with solutions for issues that arise within the documentation process and the interfaces between ILS documentation and other areas.
- Support all technical activities such as design, testing, compliance and accreditation.
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have:
- Formal qualifications or relevant experience in an engineering / technical discipline.
- Intermediate to expert knowledge and experience with MS Word (including advanced template concepts, formatting and change management).
- Intermediate to expert knowledge and experience with Adobe Framemaker.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with CAD software.
- Experience in interpreting technical engineering information (drawings and manuals).
- Knowledge of document development according to S1000D and project business rules and procedures.
- Technical aptitude for the development of maintenance documentation.
- High attention to detail and the ability to ensure consistent content.
- Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
