You will be part of a team of Technical Writers and be responsible for producting documentation including: business processes, policies and procedures, product and services presentations, document templates, technical and reference documents, end user guides, support documents and communication materials. Skills needed:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio.Intermediate proficiency in Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional.Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure and relevant terminology.Sound knowledge of technical writing and industry standards. Desirable proficiency in Adobe Captivate and VyondResponsibilities included but not limited:Supporting projects by creating, revising and maintaining technical and reference documents.Producing high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and support guides along with tutorials for end-users to assist them to use the new applications.Analysing existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.Ensuring complex technical and reference documents are thoroughly cross-referenced, factually correct, and delivered in a clear and easy to use manner.Creating and maintaining the information architecture.Develop a thorough understanding of the audience and the documentation required by meeting with colleagues, and working with managers to discuss technical problems.Research and build knowledge about products, services, technology or concepts to be documented.Please note you must be an Australian Permanent Resident to apply for this position.
