- $50.60 per hour + superannuation + take home vehicle

Responsibilities:
- Lead and role model customer focus by treating all internal and external customers with honesty, fairness, sensitivity and dignity.
- Work in partnership with your team leader to agreed performance standards and mutual expectations.
- Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential within the organisation.
- Conduct reactive and proactive tree inspections to minimise risk to the public and ensure appropriate formative maintenance of tree assets to ensure longevity of assets.
- Carry out inspections and where no specialist equipment is required, complete the job, or prepare job brief and assist as required internal and external service providers carrying out work to ensure all works adhere to Council standards.
- Undertake all inspections and provide arboriculture reports and estimates in accordance with the appropriate Australian Standards and professional arboriculture practice for trees located in Council’s parks, bush reserves and road reserves.
- Complete tree risk assessments, applying current principles and procedures within the area of tree maintenance and removal.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers by resolving customer requests.
- Carry out investigations, prepare job briefs and assist as required internal and external service providers carrying out work to ensure all works adhere to Council standards.
Requirements:
- AQF Level 3 certificate in Arboriculture (minimum)
- C class driver’s license
- Criminal History Check
- Experience with Apple, Android, and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to take direction and react promptly to urgent requests
- Work in a team environment
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
