Randstad is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a growing innovative team to deliver best practice sustainability. The successful incumbent will be responsible in delivering a variety of projects that drive positive environmental outcomes.

Key accountabilities:

  • Work with product owners and the development team to understand and refine requirements.
  • Analyse functional requirements, perform impact analysis and gap analysis, and identify related business rules.
  • Assist with writing user story and acceptance criteria to be reviewed prior to sprint commencement, using relevant modelling and other tools (Jira and TFS).
  • Collaborate with design and development team members to understand key UX and technical details; identify the gaps in the respective developed specifications.
  • Clarify inquiries of user story and acceptance criteria from team.
  • Help develop test plans for user acceptance and system testing.
  • Help troubleshoot and define user issues and bugs.
  • Provide administrative support for a salesforce org and help develop declarative functional components (Salesforce admin certification preferred).

Essential requirements:

  • Passion for the environment and sustainability practices.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a systems analyst or technical business analyst on complex, multi system or ICT system builds.
  • Be a general IT all-rounder with ability to analyse, define and fix issues across a range of systems (.NET / SQL / SAP / Salesforce).
  • Solid working knowledge of SDLC, development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional technology solutions for development, testing & implementation, including the ability to develop quality specifications for complex ICT systems.
  • Solid documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and business requirements.
  • Experience with Salesforce communities with ideally admin certification.
  • Effective communication skills, in both business and technical, oral and written.
  • Experience with large databases (SQL) and the ability to run queries.
  • Degree in Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent business or science qualification.
  • Not required but desirable: previous experience in the environmental sector and the building industry. Experience with UI/UX, APIs and payment gateways.
