This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top four banks processing domestic equity settlements. 6-12 month temporary contract with the view to go permanent. This role will suit an individual with 1-3 years experience within settlements within custody.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure correct settlements of all transactions within timeframes
  • Monitor and investigate any issues
  • Maintain daily closedown tasks
  • Liaise with brokers to ensure settlement of client instructions.
  • Investigate and clear stock and cash reconciliation breaks
  • Work within SLA’s
  • Liaise and follow up with third parties
  • Build strong internal and external working relationships

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in trades processing or settlements
  • Strong working knowledge of asset services/custody environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
