Due to an internal promotion Randstad has an immediate opportunity for a confident and motivated Leader to drive a small team in the Insurance / Construction industry. In this fast-paced and diverse role, you will be responsible for managing a small team, onboarding new staff, ensuring KPIs & targets are met, managing contractors and developing overall business improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train and motivate a small team to achieve targets
  • Work closely with directors to deliver outcomes
  • Coordinate, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Onboard new staff and create training processes
  • Grow and develop strong client relationships
  • Assist in relationship management and continuously look for improvement opportunities to service client needs
  • Ensure job details throughout repair life of works are accurately reported and recorded
  • Prepare cost reports, detailed scope documents, instructions and work orders
  • Schedule project managers, supervisors, technicians and subcontractor trades
  • Manage contract arrangements, compliance and performance for contractors and temporary staffing suppliers
  • Interpret and convert contract rates
  • Complaint handling / dispute resolution
  • Assist with the development of branding and marketing strategies


Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in the restoration, construction or insurance industry
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Experience in KPI environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Versatility and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Current and valid motor vehicle licence
