Randstad has been partnering with Government departments and authorities across Australia for over 25 years. We are currently working with a government organisation to source an immediately available Team Leader to manage and supervise a team of 4 Payroll and Accounts Payable Officers. The position is to commence immediately, is located in the Adelaide CBD and will be available for a minimum of 3 months with potential to extend.

As the Team Leader of Payment Services you will be responsible for;

  • Managing the delivery of core payroll services
  • Managing the delivery of core Accounts Payable services
  • Ensuring the Corporate credit card program is efficiently and effectively managed
  • Manage the processes for the reconciliation and preparation of group certificates.
  • Directing, mentoring and ensuring continuous development of the Payment Services team
  • Ensuring training and career development needs are managed proactively, through ongoing coaching

To be successful in securing this position you will;

  • Display a strong understanding of Awards & Enterprise Agreements
  • Have the ability to prioritise and be flexible when responding to changing priorities and demands
  • Ideally have experience using Chris 21 and/or Technology One
  • Be able to identify process improvement opportunities and potential cost efficiencies
  • Have prior management/supervisor experience for a minimum of 2 years
  • Have project management experience
