  • Tertiary qualifications in health, disability or community services
  • Knowledge of restrictive practices
  • Experience in supporting clients with complex needs in the community
  • A genuine desire to ensure that clients receive exceptional service.
  • Knowledge and experience writing person-centred plans
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and cultivate a strength-based approach

The responsibilites you will manage:

  • Aid individuals who have complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Mentor a team of support workers
  • Facilitate team meetings
  • Provide coordination of supports to complex client programs
  • Crisis management and incident report follow up
  • Assess staff performance on an ongoing basis
  • Participate in on-call and recall duties as rostered
