The Role:

As a key player, you will be tasked with spearheading the development and leadership of a team of engineers and designers, dedicated to delivering top-notch distribution design projects across Queensland and Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers to ensure successful completion of distribution design projects.
• Execute distribution design works, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Oversee both overhead and underground design projects, with a preference for utility experience.
• Utilize strong technical acumen in alignment with local utility standards and AS/NZS7000.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Showcase adept people skills, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma/advanced diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent electrical trade qualifications.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Would consider less experience for the right candidate.
• Technical proficiency aligned with local utility standards and AS/NZS7000.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Overhead and underground design experience, with a preference for utility background.
• Good people skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
