Teacher – (visual) Arts – Indigenous College - Cairns


Are you a passionate and experienced Arts teacher or do you know anyone who is? Would you like to fundamentally influence the lives of student’s under your care and do you thrive on building relationships? About the role

  • Years P-12.
  • Full time 12 months contract with view to ongoing
  • Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for all students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment
  • Contribute and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial information and technology, assets and facility resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives.

About you

You:

  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT
  • Have experience working as an Arts Teacher
  • Are passionate about a student’s learning growth and can adjust accordingly.
  • Are a team player
  • Have a commitment to the effective education and support of Indigenous sudents
