This is a fantastic opportunity for a client side Survey Manager to assist in the development of a multi-billion dollar program of works.

As a Survey Manager, Property you will be responsible for the procurement, management and administration of survey services, particularly in the specialist areas of cadastral and topographic surveying, to agreed time, cost and quality criteria. The position provides direct advice in identifying project boundaries including constraints and three dimensional title interests.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing professional service contracts, including assurance and validation with land and property information. Provide services to agreed time and quality standards to meet business and project schedules. Manage and assist in checking design submissions and their impacts on property boundaries, land interests and the acquisition program.
  • Providing technical guidance and advice to the team as input into the acquisition and divestment strategy including risk analysis.
  • Liaising with client, project teams, stakeholders, contractors and professional service providers to ensure that all survey requirements, including statutory requirements, of projects are considered / incorporated and project outcomes are met.
  • Preparation of services scope and assist in tender documentation preparations, expert advice during the procurement process, appointment, contract administration, and reconciliation between services received and requests for payment.

To be successful in this role you will need to have had experience in scheduling, estimating and managing surveying services to meet time, cost and quality constraints. You will also need to have thorough knowledge of relevant legislation as well excellent communication skills as you will be relied on to provide survey advice to both internal and external teams.

This initial 6 month contract will be paying in the vicinity of $800 per day + super for the right person dependent on experience.
