Job brief


We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to conduct data analysis to improve supply chain operations. Your job will help increase efficiency and reduce costs and your goal will be to help supply chain run as smoothly and profitably as possible.


In this role, you should have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. If you have exceptional experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, freight forwarding and Supply chain processes as well as in the Global Markets and would love a role with the opportunity to put your stamp on it, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
·Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
·Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
·Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
·Managing budgets and implementing cost saving initiatives
·Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
·Oversee inventory procedures
·Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
·Negotiate contracts, services and quality with suppliers
·Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards
·Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
·Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
·Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
·Develop, teach and reinforce safety guidelines and protocols
·Train and mentor Supply Chain employees and grow the team
·Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps.
·Prepare reports for management
·Optimise warehouse functions

Requirements
·Experience in Global Markets is a MUST
·Willingness to Travel Locally and Internationally
·Exceptional leadership abilities is required
·Hospitality, cosmetics or beauty products experience is prefered
·Hands-on role to start
·Experience in start-up business is preferable
·Must be a target-driven individual who will get the job done
·Excellent time management skills
·Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager analysing businesses
·Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
·Strong experience in implementing supply chain processes (e.g.inventory planning, warehouse management)
·Working knowledge of SAP in order to assist with integration and advanced Excel.
·Analytical mind with business acumen
·Problem-solving aptitude
·Attention to detail
·Excellent communication skills
·Outstanding organizational ability
