Randstad, in collaboration with the NSW Electoral Commission, is seeking a Supervisors to join our team for the Local Government Elections 2024.
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Supervisors. The following positions are available:
Gatekeeper Supervisor

• Manage the gatekeeper staff, liaise with logistics, batching and data entry supervisors
• Staff supervision
• Problem solving
• Computer skills
Batching Supervisor
• Manage workflows within batching teams (of 20 Batching Officers) and liaise with other managers and supervisors
• Train and supervise batching teams
• Supervises allocation of work to Batching Officers
• Certify count results (bulk entry) are correct prior to entry in to the NSWEC election system
• Some lifting may be required to be undertaken (15kg)
Data Entry Supervisor
• Manage work flows within a data entry team (of 20 Data Entry Operators per team) and liaise with other managers and supervisors
• Train and supervise Data Entry Operators
• Supervises allocation of work (batches of ballot papers) to Data Entry Operators
• Reconciliation of data entry ballot papers as required
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in staff supervision, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback, and support team members in achieving their goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Capacity to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with data entry and familiarity with relevant software applications.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and technologies.
Good to know:
- Dates: Between 16th September - 28th September
- Days: Monday - Saturday
- Hours: Between 8am - 6pm depending on role
- Pay: $39.20/hour + super

Essential Criteria:
- You must be available to work the entire 2 week period without leave due to the critical nature of the role
- You must be an Australian citizen
- To work at an election, you need to be on the electoral roll
