Spray Sealing Supervisor

One of Australia's leading road construction contractors who focus on delivering pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join their Spray Seal team.

With operations across the country, a history of over 30 + years and staff of over 200 experienced professionals, this contractor is definitely one to watch coming into 2021.

Applicants will have experience in the supervision of plant, labour and subcontractors for pavement works with a proven track record in the delivery of full service and subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements.

Key areas of Responsibility include:

• Assistance with quotation and tender activities
• Project preparation and planning
• Management of resources and materials in consultation with Operations Manager
• Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
• Daily and weekly reporting
• Client and stakeholder communication
• Willingness to travel and work away as required

A demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S and environmental legislation is essential along with a genuine commitment to a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Min. 5 years’ experience in spray seal and previous experience as a spray driver is preferable but not essential
• Knowledge of spray seal plant and materials
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with standard written communication
