job description


  • Work on the design and documentation of Tower Crane installations
  • Prepare the documentation for structural engineering designs
  • Prepare site reports for the construction of building and temporary works
  • Attend design meetings and liaison with others working in the project team
  • Marking up of plans, instruction and management of other engineering staff, carrying out computer and hand drafting
  • Proficient knowledge in all areas of Residential Building, Signage and Temporary Works Engineering
  • Face to face ability manage expectations of the company Principal the technical merits of decisions made
  • Business development, new client development and expansion of Temporary Works Engineering capabilities and opportunities
  • Solid understanding of engineering principals, Australian Standards, BCA, Council requirements, international standards, or manufacturer’s technical specifications
  • Conduct site inspections, inspect tower cranes and concrete boom pump equipment post installation
  • Prepare engineering reports for structures to determine the structural condition and/or recommendations for structural repair work that may be required


  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • 5 years experience in design and documentation works
  • Proven experience design and documentation of Tower Crane installations
  • Proficient in designing with steel
  • A knowledge of designing temporary structures would be advantageous
  • A drive to learn and apply yourself
