About the opportunity
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will join a local Tasmanian business who provide quality innovative and cost effective civil engineering services for commercial, institutional and residential building projects throughout the State. This role is supported by an experienced civil and hydraulic engineering team, as well as BIM consulting. You will be responsible for taking the lead on the design and undertaking or assisting with the design documentation and site supervision of a diverse range of building developments and have the desire to create economic designs with a high level of documentation.
About you
This role will be ideal for someone with extensive experience in structural design engineering who can operate at a senior level and run projects independently from design through to inspection and end of project.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
- The ability to apply structural engineering concepts using relevant software confidently and independently
- A minimum of five years post graduate work experience as a structural engineer
- A Bachelor or Master of Civil Engineering (Structural)
