About the company:

A global leader in the development, manufacturing and sale of paint coatings and related products in over 100 countries. More specifically they have grown their presence in Australia over the last 24 months and are now looking to open up four brand new stores across Melbourne. These paints are used for everything from cars to wood decking through their various brands. Their product range can be broken down into four main areas; wood coatings, protective coatings, decorative coatings and automotive coatings.

Core responsibilities:

You will be motivated to manage an Assistant Store Manager and Sales Assistant to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual budgets. New customer count, existing customer growth, NPS inventory accuracy and OH&S will be some of your daily accountabilities. Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will need to lead a culture of trust and integrity and drive a customer focused environment. The operational hours of this store are Monday – Friday with a half day on Saturday’s if and when required.

About you:

As a core member of the leadership team you will need to have strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, commercial acumen and posses an understanding of your customer base. You will need to be customer focused, a great decision maker and be able to proactively identify initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and influence positively net promoter scores. A proven ability to influence, coach and motivate teams is essential. You will have a general understanding of PNL and be able to align and execute sales strategies.
